Blue lotus tea, is a natural flower tea, made of a big blue lotus flower. Blue lotus tea can play a very good role in promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and dredging the meridians.
1. Heat some fresh water just until it reaches the boiling point. Wait to the water cool to about 90°C.
2. Pour some hot water into a small pot, and rinse it out.
3. Add a heaping teaspoon of tea leaves for every cup to the pot.
4. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves.
5. After about one minute, when the smell of blue lotus fills in the air, the tea is ready for drinking. 6. The same tea leaves can be used for about four infusions.
Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Unopened packages can also be frozen to extend shelf-life.
